Recently, my mom's friend Kristen's dog Carson came down with an infection. So, in an effort to make him feel better I decided to send him some yummy treats. Of course, my mom had to make then for me but it was all my idea, of course!
Can't read the recipe? Don't worry, I'll get mom to type it down below.
Thanks to all of our dog treats that he ate lots of prayers, Carson has now received a clean bill of health from the vet!
Yummy, Yummy Dog Treats
1 cup rolled oats
1 egg, beaten
1 cup shredded cheddar (my mom just cut up some slices of cheese...shhh! don't tell her I told you!)
1/3 cup margarine
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup milk
2 tbs white sugar
2/3 cup corn meal
3 cups whole wheat flour
2 tsp beef buillon granules
1. Combine oats, margarine and boiling water. Let stand ten minutes.
2. Add remaining ingredients.
3. Knead on a floured surface. Roll to 1/2" thick and cut out. (If you don't have one, you should definitely get a bone cookie cutter like my mom!)
4. Bake 34-35 minutes at 325 degrees!
5. Enjoy!!

Too cute!
