After days (and days and days and days) of excessive rain,
the sun is out in Sacramento.
And it is so goregous.
Seriously, is it possible to be in love with your city?
Last night I was able to sit outside
for Happy Hour with my friend Kassie.
I firmly believe that all meals in the spring should be eaten outside.
PS: Elephant Bar has a fabulous Happy Hour.
Who would have thought...?
*$3 margaritas and sweet potato fries; $5 lettuce wraps and brushetta*
I will definitely go back.

I was going to announce to my family that we're pregnant
[which we are not]
but after seeing a facebook conversation
between my mother and mother-in-law yesterday
about how they want to have grandchildren before they are too old,
I've decided to forgo that plan.
{And I'm hopeful that no one plays any jokes on me!}
