no matter what anyone says or thinks

There are days when I want to give up.

I just want to abandon my responsibilities

and hide under my covers.

I feel confident that these feelings are not exclusive to me.

The LORD will guide you always;

he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame.

You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

Isaiah 58:11

Honestly, on our own we probably don't have the strength to keep going.

But God calls us to lean on His strength.

But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength.

They will soar high on wings like eagles.

They will run and not grow weary.

They will walk and not faint.

Isaiah 40:31, New Living Translation

Wherever you are today,
you can go to Him; you can lean into Him.
No matter what you've done.
No matter your circumstances.
No matter how long it's been since you talked to Him.
No matter what anyone says or thinks about you.
Show me one place in His word where He says that
His strength,
His love,
 His grace
is only for perfect people.

You don't have to do this on your own.
I don't have to do this on my own.
He is for you.

I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love,

for you have seen my troubles,

and you care about the anguish of my soul.

Psalm 31:7, New Living Translation
